Welcome to the March/April 2010 issue of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. This edition is the Volume 14, Number 3 of the magazine and represents the first time we have featured a trio of flatpickers on our cover. What is unique about our cover story artists -- Bryan McDowell, Eric Hardin, and Brandon Davis -- is that they are all good friends, they all play in the same band, and they place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at the 2009 National Flatpicking Championship. We also feature Avril Smith, a talented female flatpicker from the Washington, DC area, and Jake Workman from the Salt Lake City area of Utah. And, as always, our regular staff of talented contributors have offered articles that will help you advance your flatpicking skills. We hope that you will enjoy this issue of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine!
